Compass card is spinning, helm is swinging to and fro
Oh, where is the dog star, oh, where's the moon.
You're a lost sailor, been away too long at sea.

Somedays the gales are howling, sometimes the sea is still as glass.
Oh, raise the main sail, oh, lash the mast.
You're a lost sailor, been away too long at sea.
Now the shorelines beckon, there is a price for being free.

There's a sea bird cryin' and there's a ghost wind blowing
And it's calling you, to that misty swirling sea.
Till the chains of your dreams are broken,
No place in this world you can be.

You're a lost sailor, been away too long at sea.
Now the shorelines beckon, there is a price for being free.

Dusk patrol is quite similar to dawn patrol except that you get to sleep in and typically its a lot warmer and more crowded and a lot noisier and you keep warm w/ a beer instead of coffee. Either way, its a damn fine way to start your day.

Been FBML-ing

Cool thing #12 about being unemployed; I can actually focus on me, more specifically promoting me. I always wanted to see where my dabbling with paint could take me. Today I spent the afternoon working on promotional outlets to get the word out about my paintings in hopes of getting a solo art show somewhere. I photographed the entire collection, designed and laid out some promotional postcards and set up a Facebook page just for my paintings. In doing so I got to brush up on my rather stale HTML skills and learn alittle FBML. Lemme know what you think. Or better yet check me out on Facebook here!
